This hitch pivots on an adjustable air spring instead: the bag compresses with the hit, absorbing the energy at the connection. Installation
- 01Measure receiver height and trailer coupler height with the truck loaded as you tow.
- 02Set drop: choose the pin hole that levels the trailer — the configurator suggests one for your rig.
- 03Slide the shank into the receiver, pin it, attach the ball mount and safety chains.
- 04Tune: set air pressure to match tongue weight (air ride models), re-check after loading.

Is it rated for my trailer?

How does the air pressure work?
An onboard air spring sits between the shank and the ball mount. You inflate it with a standard compressor to match your tongue weight: more air for heavy loads and highway stability, less air for a softer ride. A pressure guide ships with the product.
